• Student and lesson records: scheduled lessons, attendance, lesson notes (topics covered, performance, homework), and enrollment details.
• Billing information: a running credit ledger for prepaid tuition, including top-ups, charges, and balance history.
• Support messages: messages you send to our office through the in-app support chat, including any tickets those messages create.
• Device push notification tokens: an identifier for your device, used only to deliver push notifications to the Doceo app (for example, lesson reminders and low balance alerts) if you enable them.

How We Use This Information

We use this information to operate the tutoring service: scheduling and rescheduling lessons, recording and sharing lesson notes with families, billing and tracking tuition credit, responding to support requests, and sending you reminders and other communications about your lessons and account by email, SMS, or push notification.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising. We share information only with service providers who help us run the platform, such as our hosting provider, email delivery service, SMS delivery service, and push notification service. These providers only receive the information needed to perform their function and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active with us, and afterward for as long as needed to meet legal, tax, or accounting requirements.

Your Rights

You may ask to access, correct, or delete your information at any time. To do so, contact our office, or use the “Request account deletion” option in the Doceo mobile app, which sends your request directly to our office.

Children’s Data

Student records in Doceo are provided and managed by the student’s parent or guardian. Parents and guardians control what information is shared and may contact our office with any questions or requests about their child’s data.
